Crossfit and first responders
Crossfit is no secret in the first responders community. Military,Leo and Fire department personnel have been using Crossfit since it's begining. It makes sense,if your life may depend on how fit you are then you better get Crossfit. At both Crossfit USA and Crossfit Relentless we have a large contingent from this community and they have a special place in our hearts. They are willing to put themselves on the line everyday for us. Very soon we will begin our outreach to one particular segment of this community,the Fire Department. While a lot of FD personnel already do some Crossfit training there are a lot more that need to. We want to help prepare these men and women to improve the likelyhood that they will come home safe at the end of the day and also improve their chances of saving lives. One of our in house FD guys(Bryon Beckwith) is a shining example of what Crossfit and good eating can do for you. When you get a chance take a look at his before and after pics on this site. Bryon was always strong but now he is strong and fit! He also competes in regional Firefighter contests nicknamed the toughest 2 minutes in sport. He holds the state record and we will very soon be asking him to venture out to fire stations and instruct them on how to use Crossfit to improve their overall general preparedness for their daily jobs.
