Crossfit USA Teens is growing!

Our Crossfit USA Teen program is growing fast now with the additon of Tyler and now Mitchell. Welcome to the family guys. The addition of these 2 athletes is adding another level of friendly competiton to the wods and that is a good thing. Today we were outside dragging weighted tire sleds ,working on our bench press and then hitting the wod. Good work all the way around. Happy birthday to Tyler who turned 15 and we helped him celebrate it with an additional 15 burpees! Can't wait until you turn 16 Tyler!

Travel wods

A great client of Crossfit Relentless asked me to post some travel wods for those who want to wod while on vacation and can't get to a Crossfit box. So we decided to use a few from Crossfit Scottsdale's website and I also threw a few in for good measure. Enjoy!

Here are some No Equipment Necessary CrossFit workouts that you can do at home: 

1. Run 1/2 mile, 50 air squats - 3 rounds
2. 10 push-ups, 10 sit ups, 10 squats - 10 rounds.
3. 200 air squats for time.
4. Run 200 meters, 10 squats, and 10 push ups- 5 rounds.
5. Sprint 200 meters and do 25 push ups- 3 rounds.
6. Tabata squats and tabata pushups. (20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest, 8X)
7. 5 push ups 5 squats 5 sit ups, 20 rounds.
8. Invisible Fran…21-15-9 reps of air squats and push ups for time.
9. 100 Burpees for time
10. 3 vertical jumps 3 squats 3 long jumps - 5 rounds.

Crossfit Relentless travel wods

1.20 jump squats,10 clapping push ups...5 rounds for time

2. 20 burpees.20 sit ups...amrap in 10 minutes

3.50 walking lunge steps,25 push ups....3 rounds for time

4.25 squats,25 butt kicks,25 frankensteins 5 rounds for timeImage

Chrissy Smith

Chrissy Smith is the wife of Scott Smith(featured on our blogs recently).  She is a mother of 3 beautiful kids and a friend of mine from almost 2 decades ago. She and her husband joined us a little over 2 months ago and Chrissy is down almost 20 lbs. Her husband has lost close to 4olbs since joining us. More than this though is they are getting fit,not just skinny fat. They both are really ,really strong as evidenced by the pictures below. Very soon we will be coaching their entire family as their kids become a part of our Crossfit USA kids program. Chrissy  and Scott you are doing a great job and making your coach's proud! Keep up the great work.

Crossfit sunshine fun

The weather this week has been put to good use with the garage door open and moretire dragging! The days events included tire drags,rope climbs,box jumps and more. Erin Casale was working on her second day here and we upped the ante a bit on her. Suffice it to say any lowering of her body to seat level will be a challenge! Welcome to Crossfit Relentless Erin!
